How to get to the lido once you are in Venice?

From Train Station or Piazzale Roma

Take Vaporetto line 1 or 5.1 or 5.2 to Lido.

This is operated by ACTV. Cost of one way is 7 Euros, it may be convenient to buy a discounted card as follow:

  • 18,00 € – 12-HOUR TRAVELCARD
  • 20,00 € – 24-HOUR TRAVELCARD
  • 25,00 €– 36-HOUR TRAVELCARD
  • 30,00 €– 48-HOUR TRAVELCARD
  • 35,00 €– 72-HOUR TRAVELCARD
  • 50,00 € – 7 DAYS TRAVELCARD

From the Airport

You can easily reach the Airport boat station on foot approx. 10 minutes. When you come out from the arrival lounge, turn left and follow the walkway passing along the taxi-car station. Then follow the covered walkway leading you to the boat station. When you reach the station, you’ll see taxi-boats in front of you and the water bus stop on the left (ref below: map of the airport terminal for reaching the Alilaguna boat that will take you to Lido)

As far as the transportation from the airport to Lido/Piazzale S. Maria Elisabetta is concerned, the shuttle boat service is operated by the company ALILAGUNA. It costs € 15,00 per person (€ 14,00 if you buy the ticket on line) , luggage included, and the journey takes approximately 1 h, with 1 or 2 intermediate stops (depending on the route, red and/or blue); the complete timetable is available on the web site www.alilaguna.it.
