Venice School of Human Rights – Last week for application

ONE WEEK LEFTto enrol to EIUC’s 2014 Venice School of Human Rights.

Join other human rights defenders, practitioners of international organisations and graduate students from different continents to discuss some of the most important current challenges faced by human rights actors worldwide.

After a joint plenary session with keynote lectures by Martin Scheinin (former UN Special Rapporteur on the promotion and protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms while countering terrorism, and professor of International Law and Human Rights at the European University Institute of Florence) and William Schabas (professor of International Law at Middlesex University in London and professor of International Criminal Law and Human Rights at Leiden University) participants will attend the cluster of their choice for in-depth analysis.

The 3 core topics of the 2014 edition of the Venice School are:

  • Business and Human Rights

  • The Internationalisation of Migration Law and the Role of the EU

  • Freedom of Expression and Assembly Online
